The Music Therapy at MindSight Clinic is dedicated to providing supreme music therapy services while enriching an opportunity for the acquisition of new skills and abilities. At the Music Therapy of MindSight clinic, malad, students and professionals identify non-musical and musical goals that may be successfully targeted in the musical setting while always providing a respectful, supportive environment.
The Music Therapy of MindSight Clinic offers therapy to all kinds of clientele including adolescent, adult, paediatric and geriatric clients. The mission is to Increase academic successes through pairing academic information with musical material. It also accesses long term memory to stimulate reminiscence and reality orientation through singing familiar songs. We have experienced that client’s have shown Improved tolerance of pain and stress through the use of guided music listening techniques. All sessions are specifically designed and customised to meet each client's individual needs and may include the following:
