Your next step

A little guidance, when you need it.

Practical starting points for exploring support at Mindsight — and what to do if you need help right now.

Preparing for a first conversation

You do not need a polished explanation. You can bring questions, describe what prompted you to reach out, and say what you hope to get from support. It is completely reasonable to ask your clinician about their approach, how confidentiality works, and what sessions usually look like.

If you are choosing for someone else

Parents, partners and adult children often make the first enquiry. Tell us who the support is for and roughly what has been happening — we will explain the options without asking anyone to commit before they are ready.

What this website cannot do

Our check-up is a reflection, not a diagnosis, and nothing on this site replaces a conversation with a qualified clinician. We do not provide crisis care or monitoring.

When you need immediate help

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or go to the nearest emergency department. Mindsight’s website, forms and check-up are not monitored as emergency services.

One conversation can be a beginning

Let’s find your next step.

You don’t need the right words, a diagnosis or a plan. Just a willingness to start.
